We are a small kennel in the north of Germany, situated between Heide and the beautiful Harz Mountains near Hannover.

Our family includes the Tamaskans Aleu, her daughter Mio and our pug Rocky. Furthermore, we cooperate with other breeders (also outside the Tamaskan) and support other owners and their stud dogs such as Tayro or Vincent, neither of whom live with us.

Already as a child I was fascinated by dogs, their typical characteristics and of course dog sports. So every dog book in the library was devoured, every local dog event & seminar attended, as well as training with my own dogs in various dog schools and clubs. From 2017 to 2019 I was an honorary member of the Breeding Committee of the Tamaskan Dog Register (TDR) and until 2020 of the International Tamaskan Register (ITR), which I resigned from for personal reasons.

Through this professional experience, Sakura Tamaskans has set herself the goal of breeding healthy, everyday family dogs with an athletic build. True to the old Japanese proverb: “Friend is the name of a dog”.

Our puppies are raised with their families according to the Puppy Culture protocols for the best possible start into their new lives.
